CES Summer Hoops Camp 2013

Competitive Edge Sports has grown to be the Philadelphia region’s finest basketball facility, for both the recreational and competitive level player. Led by former NCAA and Irish National Team Coach Pat Price, the CES Basketball Academy Staff includes Walt Fuller (25 year Division I veteran coach at Virginia, LaSalle, Drexel, and UAB) and Big 5 Hall of Famer Ellen Fitzpatrick (former coach at St. Josephs and George Washington), as well as Abe Badmus, the former standout point guard at Bucknell, who also played professionally in Germany and Brazil, and who also serves as our new Facility Operations Director at CES.

Since this is an all-day camp, your child may pack a lunch or sign up for our Canteen Program at our Courtside Cafe on the first day of camp.

Our Summer Camps are for boys and girls, ages 9-16.  All camps take place from 9AM-3PM.  Before and after camp care is available.

POINT GUARD ACADEMY
Concentrated work on the primary guard position. Work on ball skills, shooting, and reading the game through on-the court demonstrations and drills. Former pro point guard Abe Badmus heads up a talented staff for the game’s most important position.
Dates: July 9-10 ($99), August 12-15 ($160)

CES SKILLS ACADEMY
CES Academy Director Pat Price leads players through a comprehensive week of skill development, games, and fun. All major skills are covered in this 4-day session. Cost: $150/session
Dates: June 17-20, July 15-18, Aug. 5-8, Aug. 19-22

GIRLS BASKETBALL ACADEMY
Led by Big 5 Hall of Famer Ellen Fitzpatrick, girls will learn the game though drills, skills and competition. A big hit last year, this is quickly becoming the top girls day camp in the region. Cost: $150/session
Dates: July 22-25, August 19-22

CES SHOOTING ACADEMY
The game’s top skill is broken down, taught , drilled and put into live-game setting. Learn footwork, reading the game, and game-speed shooting from some of the top coaches in the region. Includes games and competitions. Cost: $160/session
One Session Only! August 12-15

LITTLE BALLERS ACADEMY
A special camp for our youngest stars! Our Little Ballers Academy teaches basic basketballs skills, motor skill development, and FUN! For boys and girls ages 6-9. 8 ft. baskets! Cost: $150/session

CES Camp/clinic Refund Policy

All refund requests must be submitted via email to abadmus@cesports.net. Requests for a full refund must be made no later than 21 business days prior to camp start date. There will be no full refunds for requests made with less than 21 business days notice prior to camp start date.

There will be no partial refunds granted. Refunds requested with less than 21 business days notice will be in the form of credit towards a future camp/clinic hosted by Competitive Edge Sports.

Exceptions: You will receive a full refund with less than 21 days notice in the following cases:

  1. CES cancels the camp/clinic
  2. Camp/clinic is cancelled due to inclement weather conditions
  3. Medical emergency or death in the immediate family of participant (proof required)

In the event that registration and fees are submitted within 21 days of camp/clinic start date and then participant wishes to cancel, no refund or credit will be granted.

No refund of any type will be granted to teams who voluntarily withdraw after camp/clinic begins.
